В цілому, акції обох технологічних компаній можна вважати відносно дорогими за величиною співвідношення ціни до очікуваного прибутку (коефіцієнт Forward P/E), що є поширеним методом оцінки публічних компаній, які торгуються на біржі. За даними LSEG, Apple має Forward P/E на рівні 28, що значно вище середнього значення 19 за останні 10 років, в той час як коефіцієнт Microsoft наразі становить 31, що значно перевищує середнє значення за 10 років (24).
